Our Academics

At Shalva High School we are proud of our robust and exciting curriculum. It includes all the educational, social, and emotional tools the girls will need to live their lives as proud and healthy members of the community.

Judaic Studies

Teaching the girls to fall in love with their Jewish heritage and be proud of who they are. From topics like Pirkei Avos to Women in Tanach, there is so much to connect to.

Extra Curriculars

The girls have another opportunity to shine at extracurricular where everyone can find that thing they're amazing at and love to do. Including gym, cooking, art, woodworking, gardening & more.

Life Skills

By far our most popular class, life skills is exactly what it claims to be. The girls learn CPR, hone their communication skills, master relationship building, and much more.

Connections

Tefila and Emunah are at the core of connecting with ones self and with others, while developing a true relationship with Hashem.

Core Classes

All the classes required for the girls to graduate with a NJ accredited diploma. This includes math, science, finance, language, art and more.

The Fun Stuff

Every Chag, accomplishment, and hard work is celebrated in some way. Incentive programs are in place thruought the year. Trips and Shabbatons give the Shalva girls the ability to connect, grow, and have clean, healthy fun.

Clinical Services

Our in-school social worker provides a safe, supportive, and confidential space for students to explore their thoughts and feelings. Including collab with outside support when needed.

Social Work

Encouraging healthy and positive decisions is at the core of the clean club. We strive to support a community of students who are committed to living a clean and sober lifestyle.

Group is an important part of the healing process. It is focused on developing healthy coping skills, learning to regulate emotions and improve relationships with others.
