OUR SCHOOL

Shalva High School was founded in 2017 by a dedicated group of askanim with backing of many Lakewood rabbonim. Shalva provides a warm, wholesome educational program for the Lakewood girls who were unable to succeed in a traditional high school.

The girls sensitivities are respected and all their needs are tended to with dedication and professionalism on an individual basis.

Why Shalva?

Our girls come to us when they are yearning for a place to belong. One where they are respected and loved for who they are. While they may be struggling with their yiddishkeit, self respect, and may often feel lost, at Shalva they find home. So yes, Shalva becomes their lifeline. A purpose, a reason to wake up in the morning. In Shalva the girls know they can be whoever they need to be in that moment and will feel safe, loved and unjudged.

Resilience

Shalva is a family that supports each other. Allowing each girl to tap into her strengths and to accomplish more than she had ever dreamed.

Our Team.

We take pride in our staff who put their heart and soul into the girls each and every day. It's not just about the education but also about building relationships of support and care.
